Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information SongGifter ("we") collects when you use this site, and how it's used.

Information we collect

When you create a song, we collect the details you enter in the form — the recipient's name, your relationship to them, the occasion, the story and details you share, and your chosen style and voice. If you sign the gift, we also collect the sender name you provide.

When you purchase a song, payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Stripe shares your email address with us so we can confirm your order and, where relevant, follow up about it.

How we use it

The story details you share are sent to Anthropic (to write the lyrics) and to our music-generation provider (to produce the track). We use your email only to confirm your purchase and respond to support requests — never for marketing without your consent.

Where things are stored

Song data (lyrics, story details, and the generated audio) is stored on Supabase. Purchased songs are re-hosted permanently after checkout so they remain available to you; free previews may be generated by a third-party service with its own limited retention period.

Gift pages

Gift page links use a random, non-guessable address and are only accessible to people you share the link with. We don't index gift pages for search engines.

Your rights

You can ask us to delete your song data or your email at any time by contacting newbigideaapps@gmail.com. We'll action deletion requests within a reasonable time, except where we're required to retain records (e.g. payment records) for legal or accounting reasons.

Children

SongGifter is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product changes. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do.
